About Our Club

JM Taekwondo are members of the United Taekwondo Association headed by Vice Chairman Master T W Shin 8th Dan Korea one of the Highest graded Korean Masters in Great Britain , Master Shin is one of the most respected Korean Taekwondo Masters in this country and has trained most of the top Taekwondo players and Instructors in this country. His Instructor is grand Master Kim Soon Bae, 9th Dan. JM Taekwondo is also a member of the the BTCB, the governing body for WTF Olympic Taekwondo in this country.

Club Instructor Jason Mayoh 4th Dan has been practicing the Korean Martial Art since 1988 and became a registered Instructor in 2000. Jason has tought over 250 past and presant students ranging from 5yrs to adult, also produced a wide range of talanted fighters.

Jason himself has had some great success in the past years competing with the british team on a number of occasions, most memorably a team member of the 12th mens and 5th womans World Championship held in the Phillipines in 1995 and just recently at the 2007 European Team Championships in Sweden.

The club have 2 venues and have 8 classes per week, we attend regular competitions both National and International, We also organise social trip for the club like Alton Towers, Chester Zoo and End of your party's.
