BLOCKS
Tae Kwon Do has many defnsive blocking techniques. The most fundemental are presented here. Usually (but not always) the block is made with the "hard part" of the inner and outer forearm. It is important to remember that the power in all TKD techniques originates from the hips and not the shoulders, this way we can utilize the strength from our entire body in the blocking techniques.
High block
